“To be more precise, accounts doing parody impersonations. Basically, tricking people is not ok.” – Elon Musk via Twitter.Comhttps://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1590886170543915009
Agreed. A need is there for distinguishing, yet it might be wise on the user end to fucking check a Bio before attacking someone. Parody accounts, a very different subject, if malicious. Impersonators verses Impersonation and for what motive? And then there are the Imposters. Cut all the worms in three and it can grow hydra-heads quickly in having to baby-sit a bunch of grown ass adults who cannot read, spewing – maybe use the “profession” option, for fuck sake it’s like Elon must fucking decide everything right and wrong on Twitter now. But rules for preventing harm and breaking the law need to be defined. And pretending to be some-one else is still Identity Theft. Data protection and safety that should be included and inclusive to all fair use platform engagements. Most people working a solution to this thinking are the ones hunting for a way to avoid the new rules for monetization purposes. Shutting up due to these thoughts are severing lacking in the context that is over flowing from my brain at the moment.
